Under the Radar: Walther PPS (M2)

When it comes to small, concealable single stack 9MM's, there are only a select few that seem to come into the light of discussion. Glock, Smith & Wesson, and Sig Sauer seem to reign supreme with their excellent line of small single stacks with the Glock 43, Smith & Wesson Shield, and the Sig P938. But what happens when these guns either don't fit the bill or just don't strike your fancy? Contrary to what many gun owners seem to think, there are other brands out there that fall into the easily concealable, single stack variety. For this, we've decided to highlight the extremely underappreciated Walther PPS M2.

Walther isn't new to the single stack game by any means. Produced in 2007, and imported in 2008, the original Walther PPS debuted five whole years before the acclaimed S&W Shield. Later, in 2016 Walther came out with the 2nd generation PPS, the M2. With a re-contoured grip, the smooth shooting M2 fits the bill of not only an easily concealable single stack, but one that you can take to the range for extended periods of time.

As of 10/17/17, we've added a PPS M2 to our range wall to try out!
