Firearm Taxes + License Taxes = Higher Prices

Don't be fooled by the Bill's name. The "Gun Violence Prevention and Safe Communities Act of 2018" bill would raise the firearms and ammunition excise tax (FAET) on manufacturers, producers, and importers as well as raise the SOT (Special Occupational Tax). This means higher costs to the manufacture, which means higher prices to you across the board. Please take a second to read the bill and contact your representatives to voice your opinions!
